Just had my wedding with 60 ppl. The staff was super helpful getting everything I need set up and coordinating. We did the 4.5 hours with cake, room flip, BYOB. We did cater our food through Hy-Vee.

We were looking for a company that could help us put together a wedding ceremony and include a venue, an officiant, flowers, a cake, drinks and a photographer all for one price. Cakewalk Events ended up being exactly what we were looking for in the Kansas City area. The event coordinators did a great job putting everything together and answered all of our questions along the way. The flower, drink and cake orders were accurate. The venue was at a perfect location for us and the number of guests we invited (53 people). The photographer they provided for us was professional and very accommodating. I would recommend Cakewalk Events for any couple who wants a small, stress-free wedding.

Amy and Daisy were absolutely phenomenal. I decided I wanted a day of coordinator just a few months before my wedding. Thank goodness Calkwalk Events was available because I can’t picture my wedding without them! They were able to take care of every little detail I was worried about and anticipated so many things I would never have even thought about. In our pre-wedding meetings Amy was so attentive and asked so many questions that I knew meant she was thorough and had a great attention to detail. My husband was hesitant about a day of coordinator but after meeting Amy and working with Cakewalk he was so happy that we had a day of coordinator. I can’t recommend Cakewalk enough!!

Everything turned out beautiful! We loved our experience they definitely take the stress out of wedding planning. The Crossroads venue was perfect for a small intimate wedding with close family and friends. We did the all inclusive package and everything turned out wonderful. Everyone raved about how delicious all the food was. Our photographer was wonderful and the two coordinators made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire evening. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding day!!

I can't even begin to describe how perfect this venue was. My husband and I were torn between holding a wedding or just going to the courthouse because we didn't want any fuss. My mom actually found this venue and I'm so glad she did. It is PERFECT if you're wanting to take all the stress out of your special day. I just rented the venue, but I'm sure the add-ons would be just as great. When we arrived on our wedding day, everything was already set up and we were walked through anything we might need. Our wedding was held at 5pm and the sunlight coming in the windows just make it look beautiful. We brought two plants with us to decorate, but it would've been so nice even without them. I can't recommend this place enough. From a small, intimate ceremony like we did, or having more guest, this place is perfect if you're looking for a charming, low hassle wedding.

I booked the Cakewalk space to host dinner for my extended family (all 45 of us) during a family reunion weekend. Amy and Kristen were fabulous in helping schedule/coordinate before the event, and Krista was excellent with day-of assistance. The space is decorated beautifully, and the stereo system was plug & play for both iPhone and Android phones. Most importantly, the AC kept us cool during dinner on a 90 degree day. We liked the venue so much we are booking again for a baby shower this winter.

There are not enough words to say how amazing the Crossroads Cakewalk venue is! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and everything we could have wanted and more. The venue itself is breathtaking! The decorations and the location were absolutely perfect and I loved that they handled everything (venue, decor, cake, flowers, photographer, catering, etc). The venue coordinators we had, Krista and Kristen, were phenomenal both in advance of our wedding and day of. We arrived with totes of items to place around the venue and they jumped in to help set things out immediately which allowed me to focus on changing and final touches. The music we requested was queued up and ready, and the coordinators had everyone lined up, instructions given, and when we were ready to start, executed the wedding flawlessly. It was so nice to not have to worry about anything after we arrived and really took the stress and pressure off which allowed us to take in the moments throughout the day. We could not be more grateful.

The compliments we are STILL receiving, weeks later, have been amazing! We had told our family and friends that we were having just an intimate ceremony and keeping things small, and after, we heard repeatedly how much we "undersold" our wedding and how it was one of the best weddings our friends and family had been to in a long time. The most frequent compliment we received was how amazing and beautiful the venue was!!

Everything from the the decorations, the candles, to the cake, the catering, the flowers, the coordination, it was all more than we could have imagined. The photos are phenomenal and were returned so quickly!! The venue photographer, Maggie, was absolutely incredible and had the best ideas for our photos that day.

There is not one thing I could tell you we were unhappy with and everyone we worked with on their team was amazing.

Thank you again for turning our wedding in to reality, to working with all our ideas and customizations and to executing our vision beautifully in a short 75 days! These are memories that will last a lifetime and more.

Cakewalk is absolutely incredible. When you think of something that is hassle free you try not to get your hopes up too high. They absolutely exceeded my expectations for our big day. I did not have to worry or try to navigate anything which kept the stress low. They made sure that my husband and I were first to grab our plates.

 

Everything was done with so much care and all of the little touches. The decor was beautiful, flowers were lovely, the set-ups and let me brag on OUR photographer, Lyndsey. Omgeeee. She was absolutely amazing. She definitely made sure that we got our moneys worth of photography & captured tons of candid moments. She captured amazing photos of the ceremony and reception start to finish and I could not ask for anything better to look back on. Our big day was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! I highly recommend this venue and the all inclusive route for a beautiful, yet seamless wedding day!!!

The absolute BEST for smaller and all-inclusive weddings in KC. The venue was beautiful and perfect for our smaller wedding. There were great packages to choose from when searching for an all-inclusive option that helps check so much off your list at once. Everyone we worked with was so nice and helpful, our flowers turned out beautiful and we couldn't have been happier with the pictures. Our day went off without a hitch and was one we will never forget. Highly recommend booking with Cakewalk.

I cannot possibly gush enough about the Vow Exchange and Cakewalk Events! The chapel, the decorations, the flowers, the cake, the photography--what's a word for something that's better than perfect?? We went ahead with our COVID wedding, and even though we were limited to having only 6 guests, which is definitely not the norm, I would not have changed a single thing about our wedding. This is THE way to go for a wedding. All of your dreams will come true - they will make absolute sure of it - without the headache or stress. I loved it from the moment I walked in my own separate entrance. Kristen was absolutely wonderful! Directing right from the start! I loved it!! The whole team that day was fabulous! Truly my guests loved the venue! They love how attentive everyone was and kind, warm and friendly. Maggie was the BEST photographer! I didn't have to think about anything. We took a group photo of the behind the scenes of the crew because they were that AWESOME!! AMY you have been incredible to work with! Love your service!
