BACKGROUND MUSIC:

Your coordinator will have some nice background music

playing as guests arrive to add some atmosphere. We provide the music equipment & will play your songs on the venue device through our speakers.

BRINGING YOUR OWN PLAYLISTS:

If you would like to provide your own created playlist for the pre & post wedding ceremony times, including your cocktail hour &/or your dance party playlist, you are welcome to bring them! Please be sure that your playlists are downloaded onto your device as we do not have wi-fi & cannot accommodate streaming in our space. Also, be sure that your device has a 3.5mm headphone jack so we can plug in our aux cord to connect to our speakers.

CEREMONY MUSIC:

On your planning portal, you will select one or two entrance songs & one exit song (more on that shortly). We will acquire & add your chosen songs to our device. We do require that your entrance & exit songs are played through our device, so your coordinator can fully control the start, stops, & volume of your songs

& can orchestrate a seamless processional & recessional for you!

You can choose any songs you like. If you have a particular link you would like us to play, you are welcome to add that directly to your planning portal. If we have any trouble locating your particular song, we will get in touch to make sure we have the right one.

We will send a final email a few days before your event that will include the links to all of your selected songs so you can listen to them & assure that we have the right ones for you.

LIVE MUSICIANS:

You are welcome to bring your own musician to play live music for your ceremony & event. Since the venue space is limited, we suggest that you bring a single guitarist, violinist or harpist rather than a multi-person band or DJ. Upon arrival, your coordinator will help your musician get situated in a good spot.

CHOOSING CEREMONY SONGS:

ENTRANCE SONG(S):

We have many brides who would like a separate song for their wedding party & another song just for their entrance. Depending on the size of the wedding party, you can choose one or two songs for your entrance. Since our aisle is so short, any less than 4 bridesmaids & groomsmen on each side can result in a very choppy start/stop of the songs between the wedding party & bridal entrance that we highly discourage.

In the case of a smaller wedding party, we recommend choosing just one entrance song for everyone. If you do have a large wedding party, children participants & are seating parents in your processional, two songs would be appropriate.

Your planning portal will give you the choice to add a second entrance song only when you have more than 8 people in your wedding party to ensure a good result!

Your coordinator will play your entrance song(s) until the bride arrives at the altar & then will fade it out so

the ceremony may begin.

EXIT SONG:

You will choose one exit song that your coordinator will play after you are pronounced as the new couple. It will play in its entirety & then we will return to the house background music or your own playlist.

HOUSE CEREMONY SONGS:

If you find that you don't have a particular song you would like to have played, or you can't make up your mind, we will play our house entrance & exit songs that will work just beautifully! We usually play a lovely string version of "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" for the entrance & "Ode to Joy" for the exit.

If you choose to have a sand ceremony, unity candle or other additional ceremony, we will play a nice background song to break any awkward silence & make the ceremony flow more naturally.
