We are Kristen & Amy and we are the owners of Cakewalk Events. Service to others is our love language!!
We believe you shouldn't have to work at your wedding or event. We believe pricing should be clear, fair, and easy to understand. We believe "all-inclusive" events should truly include all your service needs.

We have two beautiful, intimate venues to rent for your wedding, party, or meeting with affordable rates for any need!
One venue is located in the heart of the KC Crossroads, and the other right off the square in Historic Downtown Liberty.
Both venues are furnished, thoughtfully decorated, and event-ready!

Enjoy the elegant, rustic charm of our intimate 50-60 person event space, right in the heart of Kansas City’s Crossroads Arts District. This venue features a genuine barn wood backdrop with metal lanterns and a wall to wall antique glass block wall that floods the venue with light. The Crossroads venue has a very warm and sophisticated atmosphere enhanced by touches of decorative black iron and hand-drawn chalk designs throughout.

The Cakewalk Chapel & Event Space Liberty can seat up to 60-70 guests in an airy, light-filled environment.
This venue features wall to wall 12 foot arched windows, art deco touches and natural greenery that make your event feel welcoming, modern, and warm. Our new expanded event space boasts a swanky lounge area, with mood lighting, distressed wooden bar, and farmhouse buffet table. Located right off the charming Historic Downtown Liberty Square.

We have crafted our All-Inclusive wedding & Party Packages with Kansas City's busy couples in mind. Our packages include all services, our built-in decor, and furniture for one affordable and easy to understand price. We won't nickel and dime you per chair, guest, drink, or otherwise! When we say “All-Inclusive", we really mean it!
WHAT WE DO:
We are now offering our Planning, Day-Of Coordination, and our beloved All-Inclusive Reception services and at new partner venues & locations!! If you have a bigger guest list or want a different look & feel for your event, you can still enjoy our amazing team of coordinators and planners, our trusted team of vendors, & stress-free packages!
We are proud to be teaming up with a growing list of amazing partner venues: The Kansas City Mansion, The Gathering KC, Heritage Hall, and the Banana Who Mobile Airstream Trailer for packages on-the-go!
We are adding new venues all the time and can work with you to build our package at your chosen venue as well!
